Elizabeth Taylor made her big screen debut in National Velvet in 1944 and went on to appear in dozens of movies, including Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Cleopatra and Butterfield 8. But with public interest in her tempestuous personal life, she became one of the most photographed women of all time. Dressed in a high cut black body which reveals a little too much of her curvy derriere Serena Williams struts into shot in a pair of thigh-high laced up boots.

The tennis star gets her game face on as we meet her female opponent in an equally racy outfit consisting of an embellished low cut black body, fishnet tights and high-heels.

As the camera flicks between bottom and breast shots this could easily be mistaken for the latest raunchy music video but in actual fact the sequence of an advert – for a tennis game.

There are not many people who would relish donning a dress made completely out of lettuce leaves regardless of the campaign.

But Chantelle Houghton seemed eager to dress up as a side salad and happily posed in her leafy vegetable outfit in Covent Garden earlier today.

The Ultimate Big Brother star was all tousled up to promote PETA’s vegetarian and vegan starter kits – to try and encourage people to choose vegetables over meat.

The singer ended a controversial day surrounded by semi-naked women at a party to mark the release of his new album, F.A.M.E. at New York's Webster Hall.
