Nervous' Lady Gaga does Nicola Formichetti proud in modelling debut on Thierry Mugler catwalk

With her stylist Nicola Formichetti as the new creative director of Thierry Mugler, it was only a matter of time before Lady Gaga lent her support to the label.

And tonight she did so to great effect as the star model at its Paris Fashion Week catwalk show.

In a predictably outrageous outfit that comprised of a sheer black dress and military-inspired hat, the star made her entrance in a cloud of cigarette smoke, cementing her status as Mr Formichetti's muse.
