Spring Break students AND festival of bikers hit Daytona Beach

In addition to the annual assortment of rowdy college kids on Spring Break, Daytona Beach plays host to an older- but not necessarily more mature- group of revellers when Bike Week participants roll into town. The eastern Florida town, known for the Daytona 500 NASCAR race, showed itself to be an equal-opportunity sporting enthusiast as it also hosts the long-standing motorcycle race and rally. Needless to say, the estimated 500,000-strong crowd brings more than its share of characters.
